Well, normally every translator and proofreaders can use the system on the site to put the balloons quickly on the pages.

Every change is logged in the editlog.
Don't forget to read the manual "How to use system". You see the link in the menu. It's only visible for people with translation permission.
Do it if you're using the system for first time. That makes low troubles for us, and for me.

And i have also comment about untranslated soundeffects or soundeffects which has no possible good English translation.
You must NOT put the sound explanation in "Translator comments". Please choose balloon type "Notice" and then put the explanation in the text field. Then the explanation is visible by the untranslated soundeffect. It's now visible on the page self.
Somebody may changed it to balloon type "Soundeffect" and put a good English translation there.

The field "Translator comments" is NOT saved by every balloon. It's only for communcation between translators and proofreaders in the Editlog why you changed it or what is changed. Not for the page translation!
In another words, it's your personal comment about the changes in the balloon or about the translation in the balloon.
The next change in balloon, you can see there is no more comment in the edit window. It's only in the Editlog.

Just for example:
Balloon type: Notice
Translation text: *sound of running*
Translator comment: No good English word found for it.
Of course Notice may changed to Soundeffect. Choose one which is most fitted for the balloon type.

And also - when you want give a extra explanation about one Japanese word - do it also in the balloon. Just make extra empty rows, then put between () your extra translation explanation for readers. Yes, if you want explain to readers, you must put it in the balloon text.
And that goes also for * usage. Then place * explanation below the translated text, with some empty rows space between.

There is enough room in the text field. Don't worry about long explanation for readers, but because i can put it on the page, please keep it short as possible.

In short:
Explanations for translators/proofreaders: you may put it in Translator comments field.
Explanations for readers about translations and soundeffects: put it in the balloon!

The room in bubbles on raw pages are not always big. Choose not much words in the translated text. If not possible, then i shall re-draw the bubbles to correct size.

Proofreaders must not change the translations immediately. Talk first your thoughts in the topics, and when there is no one against your thoughts, you may change the texts.
Please keep the Editlog short as possible for every page.

If you have some comments about how we do with texts in QTS, tell us.
