also known as Sakura Diaries in the states (anime...not the manga). I would seriously love you guys for this. thehawks.org has basically stalled on the project, am I am pretty sure its in the throws of cancellation. But it's a pretty good series, IMHO.

Is it not licensed?
And i have no raws for it. Without raws, we cannot fansub anything.

"Bodyjack: tanoshi yuutai ridatsu" as a candidate for subtitling? As far as I know it's never been done before. It's a single 30-minute OAV and there isn't a lot of dialogue. I have it on laserdisc so if you want a good-quality RAW I can provide it.

I offered it to another fansub group that was doing the other Pink Noise LD titles but they seem to have disappeared without trace, sad to say.

What's it about?

It's a mad-scientist bodyswap story, a bit hentai. It was made in the 80s so by today's standard that means it just about qualifies as a candidate for the Disney Channel.

Pervert boy gets hold of a bodyswap machine and uses it to... well, you can guess the rest. The animation quality isn't up to much but the storyline is quite funny here and there -- the Mad Scientist and his "butler" are particularly good.

I would like to see Sakura Tsuushin manga scanslated as well. Unless something happened without my knowledge it still isn't licensed. I'd be willing to donate money to buy the raws to see continued work on this manga.

Yes it is, but the manga is free game still and ripe for the picking

This is DummySub, Dummy's forum for possible anime subtitling projects. You might want to suggest Sakura Tsuuchin in the DummyScan section, probably under Manga Talk. However Dummy has three scanlation projects running currently so I suspect you're not going to get much interest at the moment.

Band of the Hawks have stopped scanlating Sakura Tsuushin but there seems to be an ad-hoc team getting together to carry on scanlating from the beginning of volume 5. If you check on the Hawks forum you might get more information on how they're getting on, and offer help there.

Two projects in fact. The third project Morumo 1/10 is not very active because i have no good raws. Translation is possible but no edited pages and release.

I'm indeed sometimes alone, but for Morumo or which title the person in raws can upload, they may edit it.

Nojay may upload pages here, to let it translate by translator, and when it's checked and corrected, Nojay may use the translations to edit it in his pages. Translators and proofreaders are here for discussion and translation.

Because Sakura Tsuuchin is licensed, you cannot more talk in DummySub section. For manga request, you must talk in DummyScan section.

I seem to be doing OK as far as my translation of Family Compo goes, working from the French edition into English. If I was trying to translate from the Japanese Allman books it would be much harder and something like MrDummy's site would be invaluable but I suspect I'd never have started in the first place.
